UM Health adds orthopedic surgeon

University of Michigan-Sparrow Orthopedics added Ian Ridge, MD, to its staff.

Dr. Ridge is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hand and upper extremity issues, including the treatment of fractures, tendon and ligament injuries, carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel, according to a Sept. 19 news release.

Dr. Ridge will see patients at UM Health-Sparrow Jolly Road Orthopedics in Lansing, Mich.

In addition, Dr. Ridge is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a candidate member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the release said.
