Catalyst OrthoScience raises $20M financing

Catalyst OrthoScience raised $20 million in financing on the heels of a total shoulder replacement milestone, the company said Sept. 10.

More than 10,000 shoulder replacements have been done with the company’s Catalyst TSA system since 2016, according to a news release. The company’s $20 million funding included financing partners RC Capital, Mutual Capital Partners and Bridge Bank.

With the funding, the company expects to expand its distribution channel, invest in new talent and launch new products.
