1. Zimmer Biomet teamed up with CBRE Group to develop orthopedic ASCs to advance a larger above-market growth plan. CBRE is the largest commercial real estate services and investment firm in the world, and the deal could expand access to Zimmer Biomet’s orthopedic technology.

2. Watertown (Wis.) Regional Medical Center linked with Healthcare Outcomes Performance Co. to expand their orthopedic and spine care. The hospital also partnered with Madison-based Orthopedic & Spine Center of Wisconsin, which is a part of HOPCo.

3. Think Surgical is partnering with Signature Orthopaedics, an Australian orthopedic device manufacturer. This will add the SignatureOrtho knee design to Think surgical’s ID-HUB, a databank of implant modules for use within the TMini robotic system.

4. Think Surgical also made partnerships with orthopedic devicemakers b-One Ortho, Maxx Orthopedics and Waldemar Link GmbH & Co earlier in 2024.

5. PELTO Health Partners and Olympia (Wash.) Orthopaedic Associates formed a partnership that will bring Olympia Orthopaedic’s spine center, two clinics, urgent care center, ASC and 31 physicians into PELTO’s five-group, 500-physician network.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
