Newport Hospital earns advanced certification for hip, knee replacements

Newport (R.I.) Hospital has earned The Joint Commission’s advanced certification for total hip and knee replacements, according to a July 31 report from What’s Up Newp.

The Joint Commission reviews systems on factors including enhanced patient care, improved outcomes, patient-centered approach, multidisciplinary collaboration and continuous improvement.
