Hospital for Special Surgery appoints chief of foot and ankle service

New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery named Constantine Demetracopoulos, MD, as chief of foot and ankle service, according to a July 17 news release.

Dr. Demetracopoulos succeeds Matthew Roberts, MD, who has held the role since 2013. Dr. Demetracopoulos will begin the leadership position Aug. 1.

Dr. Demetracopoulos is internationally recognized as an expert in total ankle replacement and leads the multidisciplinary Total Ankle Replacement Center at HSS.
