The Integrity system protects injured tendons and promotes healing in rotator cuff repair and other tendon procedures, according to a July 11 press release.

The system has been in limited release since November, and will now launch its full market release.

Christopher Baker, MD, a surgeon at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Wesley Chapel, has successfully completed more than 25 rotator cuff repairs using the system.

Testing of the Integrity system shows that it provides nearly 50% higher tensile strength, over three times greater suture retention strength and over three times more tear resistance when hydrated compared to the market-leading collagen implant, according to the release.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
