Orthobond expands board of directors

Orthobond, a leader in antibacterial surface technologies, has appointed Eric Major as chairman of the board.

Mr. Major has over 30 years of experience in the industry and has held roles including CEO, entrepreneur and chairman, according to a July 10 press release. 

He is currently executive chairman of the board at Highridge Medical. He has specialized in managing public companies, steering both public and private board governance, overseeing global operations and formulating strategies for mergers and acquisitions and business integration. 

In his most recent role, Mr. Major served as president of Stryker Spine, leading the merger of Stryker Spine’s legacy operations with K2M and growth performance.
