6 orthopedic surgeons on the move in February

Here are six orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine physicians who joined new hospitals and practices and entered into new roles in February, as reported by Becker’s. 

Note: This list is not exhaustive. 

  1. Wudbhav Sankar, MD, was named chief of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Orthopedic Center.
  2. Bradenton-based HCA Florida Blake Hospital named Andres O’Daly, MD, as medical director of orthopedics.
  3. Little Rock-based The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences appointed Lowry Barnes, MD, an orthopedic surgeon and joint replacement specialist, as its next chancellor. 
  4. Vinton, Iowa-based Virginia Gay Hospital added joint replacement surgeon Collin Haben, DO, to its staff. 
  5. Tiffany Bohon, MD, was named chief medical officer of Mizzou Athletics. Orthopedic surgeon Clayton Nuelle, MD, was named head team physician for orthopedics at the organization.
