6 orthopedic surgeon moves in September

A surgeon was named CEO of a Canadian healthcare company, and five more orthopedic surgeons joined new practices or added to their titles in September:

  1. Kevin Kaplan, MD, joined Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.-based technology company Draganfly’s board of advisers.
  2. David Caldarella, DPM, joined Boston-based St. Elizabeth’s Bone and Joint Center.
  3. Michael Maggitti, MD, rejoined Lumberton, N.C.-based Southeastern Orthopedics.
  4. Glenn Copeland, MD, was appointed CEO of Jack Nathan Health, a company that provides services to Walmart clinics in Canada.
  5. Scott Allen, MD, joined Minnesota-based Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic.
  6. Patrick Sweeney, MD, joined St. Louis-based Orthopedic Associates.
