6 orthopedic medical office buildings trading hands in 2024

Here are six orthopedic-leased medical office buildings that have traded hands so far in 2024:

1. Centennial Spine and Pain purchased an 8,300-square-foot medical office building and surgery center in Albuquerque, N.M., in October. The spine practice is currently renovating the space and plans to open to patients in the next three to six months.

2. Birmingham, Ala.-based Legacy Pain and Spine Specialists opened a treatment facility in a newly purchased medical office building that will focus on treating neck, back and joint pain.

3. A Jacksonville, Fla.-based medical office building housing Coastal Health’s orthopedic, spine, pain management, podiatry and physical therapy practices sold for $12.05 million in May. The 30,165-square-foot building also houses an 8,000-square-foot ASC.

4. Two medical office buildings in Boynton Beach, Fla., sold for $20.5 million in February, including one housing the Orthopedic Center of Palm Beach.

5. A Bridgewater, N.J.-based medical office building anchored by MidJersey Orthopaedics sold for $10.5 million in February. 

6. A Rockville Centre, N.Y.-based medical office building housing Northwell Health’s Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Group sold for $6.3 million in January.
