Orthopedic surgeon charged over alleged hidden cameras at practice

An Idaho orthopedic surgeon was arrested after footage from a hidden camera at his medical office was found, The Spokesman-Review reported April 7.

Police obtained an arrest warrant and charged Spencer Greendyke, MD, on suspicion of two felony counts of sexual exploitation of a child and six felony counts of voyeurism, the report said. One of his employees contacted police in March after finding a digital storage device with videos that appeared to be a hidden camera in a bathroom.

Dr. Greendyke turned himself into police and was booked into jail April 5. Dr. Greendyke remains in custody on a $1.5 million bond as of April 8, according to Kootenai County records.
