Miach Orthopaedics raises $20M in funding

Miach Orthopaedics, which is behind the Bridge-Enhanced ACL restoration implant, raised $20 million in series B financing, the company said April 2.

The funds will help the company's commercial expansion for the BEAR implant and clinical activities for it, according to a news release. The BEAR implant, which uses a patient's blood to help treat ACL tears, has been used in nearly 3,000 patients.

The Major League Soccer Players Association, SV Health Investors and Aperture Venture Partners joined existing investors for the funding.
