Dr. Neal ElAttrache operates on Kansas City Chiefs player

Neal ElAttrache, MD, successfully performed knee surgery on Charles Omenihu, a player for the Kansas City Chiefs.

The surgery was to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament, according to a post on X by Aaron Wilson, a reporter for NBC affiliate KPRC.

Mr. Omenihu is expected to make a full recovery for the 2024-25 NFL season.

Dr. ElAttrache is the head team physician for the Los Angeles Rams, another NFL team, and the Los Angeles Dodgers, the city's MLB franchise. He also serves as an orthopedic consultant to two NHL teams — the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks — as well as the NBA's Los Angeles Lakers.
