Zimmer Biomet sees Q4, 2023 sales rise

Zimmer Biomet on Feb. 8 posted fourth-quarter sales of $1.9 billion.

Five things to know:  

1. Fourth-quarter sales of $1.9 billion are a 6.3% increase year over year. 

2. Knee sales in the fourth quarter were $798.3 million, a 5.9% year-over-year increase. Hip sales were $504.8 million, up 3.3%.

3. Sports medicine, extremities, trauma, craniomaxillofacial and thoracic sales were $453.3 million in the fourth quarter, up 6.9%.

4. Zimmer Biomet’s full-year sales for 2023 hit $7.4 billion, up 6.5% from 2022 sales.

5. The company expects a 4.5% to 5.5% increase in sales in 2024.
