Neal ElAttrache, MD, performed knee surgery on T.J. Hockenson, a tight end for the Minnesota Vikings.
Mr. Hockenson suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during a game Dec. 24, according to a Jan. 29 news release from the Vikings.
The NFL team will provide updates on Mr. Hockenson's recovery.
Dr. ElAttrache is the head team physician for the Los Angeles Rams, another NFL team, and the Los Angeles Dodgers, the city's MLB franchise.
