Cost of total knee replacement in the 30 largest US cities


Indianapolis and San Jose, Calif. are the most expensive cities in the U.S. to undergo total knee replacement surgery, according to Healthcare Bluebook, which helps patients shop for affordable care in their area.

The costs for total knee replacement includes facility, physician and anesthesia fees. Here are the average prices for total knee replacement in 30 of the most populous cities in the U.S., based on data from the Census:
