Since the Gamma4 system launched in August 2022, it has been used in more than 19,000 cases at 850 facilities nationwide, according to a Jan. 17 news release shared with Becker’s.

Gamma4 is used for the treatment of stable and unstable fractures and the stabilization of bones and correction of bone deformities in the intracapsular, trochanteric, subtrochanteric and shaft regions of the femur.

The new intermediate nail and RC law screw earned FDA clearance in June. The additions offer a 15% increase in cutout resistance, 2 millimeters of additional surface area contact with the femoral head, an intermediate nail option that allows for faster procedural time and an anti-rotation clip for better intraoperative stability, according to the release.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
