AAOS gives grants to address diversity, inclusion in orthopedics

The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons provided grants to 17 recipients as part of the 2024 AAOS IDEA Grant Program, according to a Dec. 1 news release.

The IDEA Grant Program supports initiatives creating diverse pipelines into orthopedics and fostering diversity, equity and inclusion eforts. 

This year’s grant recipients include The Perry Initiative, the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and University of Alabama at Birmingham. A full list of recipients is here.
