Pardee Sports Medicine adds 2 orthopedics surgeons

Corey Beals, MD, and J. Gregory Mawn, MD, have joined the staff of Asheville, N.C.-based Southeastern Sports Medicine and Orthopedics.

Dr. Beals, an Air Force veteran, specializes in shoulder replacement, orthopedic fractures and more, according to a Sept. 1 news release from the health system. Dr. Mawn specializes in accelerated recovery after joint replacement, knee replacement and more. 

Southeastern Sports Medicine and Orthopedics is a department of Hendersonville, N.C.-based UNC Health Pardee Hospital. It has six locations across Arden, Asheville, Brevard and Hendersonville.
