The Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute, the official orthopedic provider for the University of Central Florida athletic teams and its Big 12 conference teams, is adding two physicians to the university medical roster.
Abhishek Kannan, MD, and Tracy Nogle, DO, will join Michael Jablonski, MD, and Fred Soliman, DO, in providing sideline orthopedic care.
Dr. Jablonski has been with the team for 20 seasons, serving as medical director and team physician, according to a Sept. 8 press release sent to Becker's.
Dr. Kannan is an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon at Orlando Jewett, specializing in operative and nonoperative care for athletes of all ages. He has previously worked with the Chicago Blackhawks professional hockey team and the San Francisco Giants football team.
Dr. Nogle is a former Division I athlete and a primary care sports physician at Orlando Jewett. She has served as team physician at Michigan State University and the Orlando Solar Bears hockey team.
