Arlington, Va.-based Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic has partnered with the Hurt! mobile app, which delivers free virtual access to orthopedic specialists.
Anderson's patients across Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia will now have access to on-demand care outside of regular office hours, according to an Aug. 1 press release.
Virtual orthopedic experts can review the injury immediately and assess what level of care is needed going forward so the patient can choose appropriate next steps.
Anderson also recently opened an urgent care clinic, which provides patients with acute injury treatment and same-day service options.
