Pittsburgh-based UPMC Orthopedic Care added a fracture care program which will be led by Matthew Garner, MD, Central Penn Business Journal reported July 25.
The program offers services for orthopedic trauma from simple breaks to complex fractures, the report said.
Dr. Garner is an orthopedic trauma surgeon, and he earned his medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He completed his residency at New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery.
