Dr. Helfet will oversee program development, clinical quality and patient care at HSS at NCH, according to a July 10 news release. He is director emeritus of orthopedic trauma at HSS and recieved the HSS Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015.
Dr. Helfet’s role is effective July 1, and he started a phased transition from his New York City practice.
HSS and NCH Healthcare System began their collaboration in 2022.
