Dr. Anjan Shah named chief medical officer of orthopedic company

Anjan Shah, MD, was named chief medical officer of Conventus Flower Orthopedics, the medtech company said May 2.

Dr. Shah is an orthopedic trauma surgeon with the Orthopaedic Trauma Service, a division of Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa, according to a news release. He is also chief of staff and director of orthopedic trauma at Brandon (Fla.) Regional Hospital. 

Conventus Flower Orthopedics focuses on orthopedic devices including Flex-Thread, a threaded intramedullary distal fibula nail.
