Orthopedic surgeons earn $371,400 annually on average, according to data published April 25 from the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ occupational employment statistics survey.

Orthopedic surgeons in Hawaii had the highest average annual wage, followed by New Hampshire and Vermont. The data was gathered in May.
