Summit is a 4K single-use arthroscope, Pristine Surgical said in an April 20 news release. It has quick setup and a transparent pricing model to reduce costs for ASCs. Its proprietary Pristine Connect software allows for seamless video capture.

Dr. Getelman completed the case April 19 at Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Van Nuys.

With the first in human case done, Pristine Surgical is now gearing up for Summit’s commercial release.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
