Ossifix Orthopedics, a subsidiary of Umbra Applied Technologies, is expanding beyond Texas, entering the Southern and Northeastern markets.
The company has onboarded five account managers across 11 cities in Texas, with expansion into New England underway.
During the second fiscal quarter of 2023, they aim to expand across four major metropolitan cities in Louisiana and 21 cities in Florida, according to a March 17 press release.
More than 100 surgeries are expected in the second quarter, with a 20 percent increase month over month.
Ossifix's allograft bone implants are designed for small bone, extremities and sports medicine markets. Products can be used in ASCs, hospitals and specialty clinics.
International sales are also slated to begin later this year.
