Dr. Habeck has worked with the hospital since 2018 and is a hip and knee replacement specialist, Watertown Medical Regional Medical Center said in a Jan. 31 news release. He recently began using the Velys robotic system.
As chief of staff, Dr. Habeck will oversee all care and maintain a seat on the board of trustees. He replaces Vikram Goyal, MD, whose two-year term ended.
“Dr. Habeck is a tremendous surgeon who is trusted by both his patients and colleagues,” the hospital’s CEO Richard Keddington said in the release. “His leadership will be crucial over the next two years to help us continue to provide safe and quality healthcare.”
