Professional women's soccer team the Orlando Pride has named Orlando (Fla.) Health sports rehabilitation clinical specialist Cory Price as its new director of medical and performance.
Dr. Price has been working with the team as a physical therapist in a contract role since 2020. As the team's medical director, Dr. Price will be in charge of medical, physical performance, sports science, performance psychology and nutrition for club players.
Dr. Price is a board-certified sports physical therapist who has been affiliated with the American Physical Therapy Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Association, according to a Jan. 26 press release.
He also has a sports clinical specialist certification from the American Physical Therapy Association and a strength and conditioning certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
