Mark Frankle, MD, joined the surgeon advisory board of Aevumed, the company said in a Jan. 24 LinkedIn post.
Dr. Frankle is an orthopedic surgeon with Tampa-based Florida Orthopaedic Institute. He earned his medical degree at Rush University College of Medicine in Chicago and completed his residency at University of South Florida in Tampa.
Dr. Frankle directs the biomechanical shoulder and elbow research at the University of South Florida College of Engineering and has multiple research articles on shoulder surgery.
Aevumed is based in Philadelphia and focuses on rotator cuff repair products.
