All companies commended will be entered into the Medical Device Network Awards, which will be awarded at the end of the year.

ArthroFree eliminates the need for cables, allowing surgeons to move around untethered. Lazurite has raised more than $25 million from investors since 2015, according to a Dec. 7 press release.

In September, Laith Jazrawi, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at NYU Langone Health in New York City, performed the first procedure using ArthoFree.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
