Enovis secures Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeon award for AR guidance system

Wilmington, Del.-based medical technology company Enovis has been awarded the American Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeons’ Industry Innovation Award for its Arvis augmented reality guidance system, according to a Nov. 10 report from MarketScreener.

The award, given annually, recognizes innovation in the hip and knee arthroplasty space. 

Arvis is the only FDA-cleared real-time, hands-free augmented reality technology for orthopedic surgeons. It is used for visualizing guidance during hip and knee surgery. 

It is compatible with Enovis’ Empowr hip and knee technology.
