Dr. Giovan grew up watching his father work in orthopedics, the report said. Growing up, Dr. Giovan enjoyed working with his hands with toy models and cars.

He comes to Mercy Clinic Orthopedic Surgery with more than 16 years of experience behind him. Dr. Giovan specializes in sports medicine with a focus on shoulder injuries.
