Dr. Gilbert Beauperthuy-Rojas named president of Miami Orthopaedic Society

Gilbert Beauperthuy-Rojas, DO, is the new president of the Miami Orthopaedic Society, according to a July 18 news release shared in South Florida Hospital News.

Dr. Beauperthuy-Rojas has served the Miami area for more than 25 years and is medical director of orthopedics at Coral Gables (Fla.) Hospital. He’s a recognized leader in sports medicine and degenerative hip, knee and shoulder conditions.

The Miami Orthopaedic Society also named its new Executive Committee of the Board of Directors. The committee comprises President-elect Michele D’Apuzzo, MD; Secretary/Treasurer Victor Hernandez, MD; Giovanni Paraliticci, MD; Christopher Hodgkins, MD, and Immediate Past President Steven Gorin, DO.
