Texas orthopedic practice names new president

Tyler, Texas-based Azalea Orthopedics named John Priddy, MD, as its new president, CBS affiliate KYTX reported Jan. 21.

Dr. Priddy assumed the role Jan. 1 and replaced Michael Russell, MD. Dr. Russell had served as president since 2017 and helped form OrthoLoneStar.

Dr. Priddy is a foot and ankle specialist. He has more than 17 years of experience and is one of the few surgeons qualified to perform total ankle replacements in East Texas, according to the practice’s website.
