Dr. Cooper has worked as an independent orthopedic surgeon for 18 years before his practice integrated into the Mercy network in 2014. He will replace Steve Goss, MD, as president.
Dr. Cooper has held leadership positions in the Arkansas Orthopaedic and Arkansas Medical societies. Currently, he is the state’s representative to the board of councilors for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
