5 things to know about Hope Orthopedics

Salem (Ore.) Health recently absorbed Salem-based Hope Orthopedics, a clinic with three sites in Salem, Keizer and Dallas, Ore.

Here are five things to know about Hope Orthopedics, now rebranded as Salem Clinic: 

1. Salem Health hired the majority of Hope’s employees in the absorption, including 29 physicians and 182 other employees. Fewer than five employees did not remain on staff. 

2. Hope Orthopedics formed in the early 2000s when four competing orthopedic groups joined together. 

3. Hope provides both inpatient and outpatient surgical care, with physicians specializing in foot and ankle, hand conditions, hip conditions, knee conditions, shoulder conditions and sports injuries. 

4. Hope is partnered with a sister clinic, the Willamette Surgery Center in Salem. 

5. Hope sports medicine specialist Alana Ryan, DO, was chosen as the best physician in the Willamette Valley for 2022.
