5 orthopedic surgeons bring care to new Essentia Health clinic

Duluth, Minn.-based Essentia Health is opening a drive-through pharmacy and 16,000-square-foot clinic in Staples, Minn., that will be staffed by five orthopedic surgeons.

The new location will feature state-of-the-art equipment and is expected to create 25 new jobs in the region, according to a March 8 news release. 

The new clinic will offer orthopedic care, primary care, surgical specialties, physical therapy, radiology and lab services. 

Orthopedic surgeons Paul Thompson, MD, Paul Rud, MD, Ashley Nord, MD, Nicholas Lesmeister, MD, and Christopher Metz, MD, will provide care five days a week at the Staples location.
