Here are five statistics.
1. Most orthopedists, 36 percent, spend between nine and 12 minutes with each patient.
2. Only five percent spend 25 minutes or more with a patient while 12 percent spend less than nine minutes with each patient.
3. Fifteen percent spend anywhere from 17 to 24 minutes with each patient, and 32 percent spend between 13 to 16 minutes with patients.
4. Most orthopedists, 43 percent, spent 30 to 45 hours a week seeing patients.
5. While six percent spend more than 65 hours seeing patients weekly, 15 percent spend less than 30 hours seeing patients each week.
