Raymond Metz Jr., MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Elk Grove Village, Ill.-based Core Orthopedics & Sports Medicine.
A Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. native, Dr. Metz focuses on adult and pediatric hand disorders, such as fractures, nerve disorders, arthritis and Dupuytren's disease. He is also interested in endoscopic nerve decompression and arthroscopic elbow, wrist and hand surgery.
Dr. Metz's writing on pediatric finger injuries and adult tendon transfers has been published in orthopedic textbooks.
