4 things to know about Lakeside Orthopedics’ free concussion testing

Lakeside Orthopedic Institute in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. offered free concussion testing to student athletes, according to RiverScene Magazine.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. With the increasing risk of student athlete concussions, Lakeside Orthopedics offered free concussion assessments to student athletes in the Lake Havasu Unified School District.

 

2. Student athletes will have access to Lakeside Orthopedics concussion testing at no cost. The Lake Havasu Unified School District requires baseline assessments before a season.

 

3. The Arizona Interscholastic Association requires that high school student athletes complete a concussion awareness class.

 

4. Lakeside Orthopedics provides knee, back, hip, joint replacement, arthroscopic surgery and pain management services.
