Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Anthony Romeo of Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush

Anthony Romeo, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon and professor at Chicago-based Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Romeo is the director of the shoulder and elbow division at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He is a team physician for the Chicago White Sox and Bulls.

 

Dr. Romeo is a member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Society, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

 

After earning his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine, Dr. Romeo completed his residency at Cleveland Clinic. He underwent fellowship training at Seattle-based University of Washington Medical Center.
