Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Lisa Lattanza of UCSF Medical Center

Lisa Lattanza, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at the University of California San Francisco Medical Center. She also serves as chief of hand, elbow and upper extremity surgery at the medical center.

Dr. Lattanza's interests include hand and elbow birth defects in children and elbow and forearm reconstruction in adults. She subspecializes in arthritis, blood vessel and nerve problems, bone deformities, dislocations and fractures and tumors.

 

After earning her medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Dr. Lattanza completed her residencies at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City and the University of Missouri in Kansas City.

 

Dr. Lattanza underwent fellowship training from Roosevelt Hospital in New York City and the Dallas-based Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
