Here are three things to know.
1. The foundation licenses its name from OrthoPediatrics. It was founded to provide funding and support for pediatric orthopedic education and research.
2. The organization will sponsor educational events throughout the U.S. and abroad. It will also fund pediatric orthopedic educational grants, fellowships and clinical research.
3. Peter F. Armstrong, MD, will head the foundation along with a board of directors composed of pediatric orthopedic surgeon educators:
