1. Iowa City, Iowa-based Steindler Orthopedics broke ground on a $60 million facility in North Liberty, Iowa. The facility will include a clinic and ASC, the report said. Construction is expected to be completed in early 2025.
2. Indiana Joint Replacement Institute has broken ground on a $28 million hip and knee replacement center in Noblesville. The 40,000-square-foot facility will have an ASC with four operating rooms, a hip and knee clinic with 20 exams rooms, a research gait lab, an education and research conference center and a center for physical therapy and X-rays.
3. UT Health East Texas is building a two-story, 20,000-square-foot, $12 million orthopedic and sports medicine-focused facility in Tyler, Texas. The new facility will be located next to the existing UT Health East Texas Physicians clinic, which houses family and internal medicine, facial plastics and ear, nose and throat physicians. It is expected to open in 2024.
