3 orthopedic leadership moves to know

Here are three orthopedic surgeon leadership moves so far in September:

1. Zimmer Biomet promoted orthopedic surgeon Nitin Goyal, MD, to its executive leadership team. In his new role, he will continue overseeing gloval innovation, medical education, clinical affairs and reimbursement strategy. 

2. Joseph Schwab, MD, will lead Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai’s spine-oncology program and the Center for Surgical Technology and AI Research.

3. Marinus de Kleuver, MD, PhD, accepted the role of president of the Scoliosis Research Society.
