Here are five quick notes:
1. The program’s initial graduates are Paul Ghattas, MD, Brandon Green, MD and Jennifer Waterman, MD.
2. The three graduates are moving on to shoulder and elbow, pediatric orthopedic surgery and orthopedic foot and ankle fellowships.
3. Wellmont and Holston Valley Medical Center held a ceremony last week where the graduates received their certificates.
4. The residency lasts five years, with the current graduates coming to Wellmont after completing their first year elsewhere.
5. The program now includes 13 residents who will graduate in 2016.
