“We are doubling the number of OR suites because we are going to have a new service line — orthopedic surgery,” Kathy Bunting, PhD, the hospital’s CEO, said in a March 16 news release. “Our hospital has never entered that specific realm of healthcare.”
The orthopedic wing will include robotic surgery systems and its own radiology department.
The hospital recently hired Kory Blank, MD, who will lead the orthopedic wing.
