The investment is part of a larger Series A funding, according to a company news release. The funding will help Well iQ expand its client base and add more integrations with electronic health record systems.

Dr. Matuszak and Dr. Violante are surgeons with Amherst, N.Y.-based Excelsior Orthopedics, and they will join Well iQ’s board of directors.

Excelsior Orthopedics uses Well iQ to let patients give real-time feedback. In 15 months, Excelsior Orthopedics saw a 1,300 percent increase in public reviews using Well iQ.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
