Dr. Crist performed the case for a 70-year-old woman at Columbia-based University Hospital at the University of Missouri, according to a Sept. 6 news release. CuraFix’s IM implant lets surgeons choose their own entry point and steer in a minimally invasive procedure.

“The 100th patient treated by the CurvaFix Implant is an important milestone for CurvaFix and is indicative of a large unmet clinical need our curved implant can address in patients suffering from fragility or high-impact fractures of the pelvis,” Steve Dimmer, CurvaFix’s CEO, said in the release.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
